Boardwalk Practice Now that the weather is warming up, the BowWows will return to the North Beach boardwalk to practice. Look for us on warm Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We will try to post more detailed times on Friday evenings, so please check back. 2008 Schedule Saturday, January 12, 11 a.m., Publick Playhouse, Cheverly, MD. . . . . . . . . . . . . . Tucker, a seven-year-old longhaired miniature dachshund, started life entertaining at nursing homes and hospitals. When he discovered dancing, he dragged his shy mom kicking and screaming onto the stage. Tucker’s favorite dance moves are riding his skateboard and sitting up to wave at the audience.
Sam, a seven-year-old standard poodle, shocked the obedience world by inserting Baryshnikov leaps and spins into what he considered a boring exercise. Bowing to the inevitable his mom enrolled him in dance class, which better suited his creativity. Sam’s favorite dance moves are walking on his back legs, flying leaps and his original 180 catapult turn.
