Our performances incorporate more than dog dancing. They are essentially dog variety shows that incorporate dance, music and the opportunity for select audience members to dance with the dogs.
The shows are self-contained and choreographed for the most professional entertainment. They are designed for all ages. Shows typically run 30 to 45 minutes, though we can choreograph shorter segments. We use well-known, popular music that appeals to all family members. Sam and Tucker have learned a wide assortment of dances -- including softshoe, jive, paso doeble, march, samba, cha-cha and foxtrot. This allows us to shuffle the routines so we may create a show customized to your particular audience. This also allows us to perform multiple times at longer events without repeating the shows.
When planning your show, please keep in mind that we require a minimum stage size of 20' x 25' -- and some of our routines require larger areas. So plan on providing as large of a stage as possible. The shows look best on an actual stage, though we can work with you for other environments provided we have the space. If you're not using an actual stage, we need a space completely separated from the audience with one side against a wall or partition. We can use your sound system or provide our own; if the latter we'll need a place to plug in our sound system and microphone.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Do you do birthday parties?
A: No. Though we offer a chance for the audience to dance with the dogs, our show is choreographed for a stage production.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: Expenses, plus a bit more to help pay for insurance. We can give you better numbers after we discuss your show requirements.
Q: Do you do outside events?
A: No. We've tried, but the show runs 30-45 minutes with Sam and Tucker performing the whole time. The dogs just get too hot outside. They need air conditioning.
Q: How much space do you need for a performance?
A: Many of the routines require a minimum of 30' x 40' though we have some shows choreograped to smaller spaces. The absolute smallest area we can work with is 20' x 25.' This is not a dog tricks act, but a fully choreographed show and our four-legged dancers need room to move.
Q: Any other requirements?
A: Yes. We need a non-slippery floor for the dogs such as carpet or mats. In the summer, the dogs also need air conditioning. This is a high energy show and the dogs get hot easily. Dogs can easily suffer from heat exhaustion and we don't take any chances with Sam and Tucker's health. Finally, please be sure to list us in your program, press releases and advertising as the "Boogie Woogie BowWows Show." Again, this is a fully choreographed show, not a freestyle demo.
Q: Do you do corporate events?
A: Absolutely. We also perform at dinner theaters, family resorts, traditional theaters, libraries, schools and select fundraisers.
Q: Do you offer performances other than a full show?
A: Yes. We've performed with theater groups, providing intermission entertainment. These generally run 15 minutes.
Q: Do you appear on television?
A: Yes. Sam and Tucker are seasoned entertainers and aren't intimidated by television sound stages. We have a few 30-second routines that easily adapt to television format. And, unlike many dogs, Tucker and Sam will happily dance with your TV hosts.
Q: How can I incorporate your show into my upcoming event?
A: Please contact us to discuss your needs. We are willing and able to adapt the show to suit a wide variety of formats.
